Nick Hughes:

Thankfully, your pro-bnp attitude and xenophobic views are in the minority, hence why the bnp are not running the country.

Perhaps you would also like to take a look at the leaflet suggested elsewhere on this site;

http://libcom.org/files/Asylum%20Lies%20Leaflet.pdf

(Its a pdf document)

Also, being a Christian is not a requirement for British citizenship, you may be surprised to find out.

66% of the population have no connection with religion or church, suggesting this is hardly a "Christian realm" as you somehow believe.

Nick Hughes: your Soul is in great danger. Your using His name to preach the works of the devil. Repent and read your bible. Submit to Christ and chose the path of love or you will have no place in His kingdom.

PS- If you've got nothing to worry about then why would it upset people to have an ID card on your person? If you dont like it, get out with the other traitors to the British and Christian realm.

Are you people retarded!? Of course we want ID cards, not just for non EU migrants, for every single last one of them! Having said that even supposed British 'nationals', tried to destroy us with the 7/7 bombings, I'm guessing this site is either run by immigrants or non christians? Lets get something straight, you come in this country you get an ID card issued, thats if you're legal, if you are stopped without that ID card on your person - you get shipped back where you came from - no questions, you dress like us, you live by our laws and worship our God. The sooner every immigrant that we have to take in (against our wishes) accepts this the quicker myself and other true British nationals will feel safer walking down the street and the more likely we are to avoid our streets running with blood in the next few years. BNP is, with sites like this around, our last salvation. We want our country back. Close the British borders, not the welsh ones.

Point taken. It is clear that the government wishes to bring various different agencies together in a push for greater control. ID cards are being tailored to replace a large number of existing documentation, residence and work permits are just the first. It's no coincidence that it is the DVLA who are producing these cards.

As for NO2ID it is not what they say that we are concerned about, it is the lack of action. With ID cards coming in the November (regardless of the fact that they only apply to non-EU foreign nationals at first) now is the time for opponents of ID cards to be making the anti-ID arguments in the most forceful way, taking to the streets and showing solidarity with those groups which the government is looking to victimise .

The discussion about this protest on the NO2ID forum certainly seems to reveal real naivety amongst at least some sections of NO2ID supporters, with one poster commenting that

    “They aren’t ID cards for foreigners. They are biometric residence and work permits.“
I'm that poster.

I take your point that they are like ID cards. Also the Home Secretary says they are ID Cards. But I think you missed my point that there are two problems right there: the conflation of identification with authorisation (entitlement), and the conflation of the ID scheme with border control.

As for NO2ID, aren't they saying essentially the same thing as you? That foreigners are but a first step (a soft target)?
