Thanks that the EU still provides some form of protection for us unlike people from Latin America or elswhere !
As reader of this blog are aware, unlike the very “professional” UKBA, is that Brazil has many cultural ties with various European countries .
Coming back from Brazil last month, I was bullied by no less than 4 agents, as soon as I left the plane ! They wanted to know every single details of my stay in Sao Paulo and started to look into my private correspondance alleging that Brazil was a “high risk country” .
I feared I would spend some bad time in detention; only when they realised they would be exposed, they let me off (not without searching my bag of course)
Welcome back to the UK ! (or did I get the wrong plane and landed in a military dictatorship?)

Here’s an idea. Let’s raise the money put it in their accounts in Patagonia and they can transfer it back on the day of their departure. In fact this fund could be set up not just for Evelyn and Shirley but for all Welsh Patagonians so that none need be turned away from WALES by the UKBA due to small bank balances ever again. Just a thought.
